Rebates

The majority of services offered at Athena Phythian Psychology are eligible for rebates from:

Medicare
Traffic Accident Commission (TAC)
WorkSafe Victoria
Victims of Crime Tribunal (VOCAT)
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Cancellation Policy

If you need to change or reschedule an appointment, Athena Phythian Psychology requires at least 48 hours notice. If you need to cancel or reschedule arises, please contact me by phone or email.

If your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 0-24 hours' notice, you will incur the full fee of the service, if your appointment cannot be filled by another client.
If your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 24-48 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50%, if your appointment cannot be filled by another client.

I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have a Medicare provider number, enabling you to claim a Medicare rebate for your appointments.

To claim these rebates, you will need a referral from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician before the initial appointment. There are several plans under which you can claim a rebate from Medicare and the rates vary between plans.
